If you recently both moved your blog and updated it, then you may have missing/corrupted files from failed ftp transfers. Try reuploading your theme files and reupdating your WordPress with a freshly downloaded copy.

Thanks iridax, I tried that but to no avail. When I look at the dashboard it shows blue zinfandel while the default theme is showing on the blog itself. I am all out of ideas!
Could it be your browser cache? It’s showing Blue Zinfandel for me.
It shows blue zinfandel for a while after I change it but then reverts a while later. Could it be something in the mysql database as that seems to be the only thing I haven’t changed?
Thanks
It changed back again. So frustrating!!!
Did you change your blog url and maybe some links in your theme are pointing to the old directory…
Also, do you have the WP super cache or any other cache related plugin?
Thanks for that.
I have no cache related plugins. How would I check the links in my theme?
I had that problem until I discovered “activate theme” in small letters at the top right hand side of the page. It’s easy to miss it, and it shows only when you have chosen a theme to look at.
Another possibility that occurs to me could be a problem with the Template Hierarchy:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Templates_Hierarchy
“If WordPress cannot find a template file with a matching name, it skips down to the next file name in the hierarchy.”
I’m wondering if there are some files missing in Blue Zinfandel and when WordPress can’t find them it reverts to the default theme.
