So what I'm trying to do is have a blog teaser, like a small paragraph of my blog entry, then have a link for "more" (which I know how to do), but only users who are registered can read the "more" link.
How do I go about doing that?

I don't know any way to do that. It is NOT a WP feature, for sure.
I don't know about a plugin either.

Look up the post levels plugin. It can do what you're looking for, plus some.
