Blog suddenly non-responsive (3 posts)

Appreciate any help! My blog this morning started to hang on loading, and now will not come up. At first the home page came up, and I could not log in to the admin area (progress bar would load about halfway, then stop). Now the entire blog is that way.

This is version 2.6. Installed just over a week ago and has been running without problem.

I have 43 other domains on this (dedicated) server. The other sites are running fine. I rebooted the server, but no effect. The last change I made to the blog was earlier this morning, when I installed the Countdown Timer Plug In. It was working fine then.

Any idea what would cause this, and how I can fix it? I deleted the Countdown Timer module from the plugin directory, suspecting that might be causing it to hang. Made no difference.

    I appreciate any insight here.....

Update - it definitely seems to be the countdown-timer plugin. I removed the plug in (but had not closed my browser to retry) when I made the previous post. Once I closed my browser and reopened it, the site came up and worked fine.

I uploaded the countdown timer plugins again and brought up the home page - it came up fine, the counter was active. Once I clicked ANY link - not just login - the site locks. I removed the plugin files again, closed/reopened the browser and it is working fine. I tried this on two machines with identical results. Could this be a session issue of some kind? I ask because once it locks, the only way to get back into the site is to reset the browser.

Anyone else had this trouble? I am going to do a little more digging, and did not want to spam the board with a new thread on the timer...

To me happened something similar. Suddenly stopped working the blog, without making any changes. I solved the problem changed to other theme and immediately after re-activate theme.
