   All of a sudden, my stats stopped counting. So, I tried downloading a WP-Stats plug-in and followed the instructions and it is still not working.

   I need help...BAD!

   Thank you in advance to anyone who can offer advice!

   Did you change your theme?

   Your footer file (or another theme-file -mostly the footer-) should call: <?php wp_footer(); ?>

   Otherwise stats aren't counted.

   I'm experiencing the same issue. So using a theme can cause problems?

   I will check my footer.

   yup....theme's need to call the <?php wp_footer(); ?> in the footer for many different plugins and functions to do their thing

   Thanks for your response. I have checked my footer, and the <?php wp_footer(); ?> is correctly inserted already, but still no stats. Confused. Thanks again.

   Hello everybody! I don't know about you folks. But ever since wordpress.com went down on 11th June, I have experienced a sudden decline in my site traffic. Anyidea if the wordpress.com issue is causing this?

   Instructions say to go to plugins/add new after activating. In WP 3.0 it is useless to go there and blog stats options page says that I have insufficient authority to access page even though I am the admin.
