Blog Stats: How many hits?

    WordPress.com offers the widget “blog stats” which just simply shows you how many hits you are getting for your blog on the sidebar.

    How can I get it for my hosted domain? I’ve installed WordPress 2.6.1, but it doesn’t seem to offer it.

    I tried installing wordpress’s blog stats (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/stats/), but I don’t think it can be added to the sidebar and only functions as stats monitor beside my dashboard.

    I don’t want anything special, as most of the stats widgets out there seems to offer. Just a nice simple widget like the one on wordpress.com that shows how many hits I have on the sidebar. D:
