I am learning how to customize my wordpress theme, but one of the things that has me hung up is how to customize what is posted after your blogpost. The website http://www.grainedit.com has a very clean organization of links below the post. I.E. (Date, author, category, comments, share this link and facebook link). First what is this called, is there a wordpress lingo to describe this? Footer? Also is this coded within the post? Any help wold be greatly appreciated.

Usually that's "coded" in a theme's index.php. See Post_Meta_Data_Section
