   Hi

   I've just started using WP, and I've set up a site at alanchristopherjones.com.

   When I publish a post to my blog it just becomes a page in its own right, instead of appearing as a post on the Blog page.

   How can I put this right?

   ??? I see posts in your blog though.
   http://www.alanchristopherjones.com/?p=98 is a post, not a page.

   Contact is a page: http://www.alanchristopherjones.com/?page_id=8

   I take it you write posts in Admin/Posts/Add New ?

   Also I see more than one categories: cinema, jokes but I cannot dinf a direct navigation to these categories (but that's not what you are asking).
