I feel like my problem is pretty retro but it's happening nonetheless. I've had a static front page since I installed wordpress. I decided that I wanted to migrate my blog here so I tried simply testing blog posts by adding a blog page to my site and creating test posts. They list fine on the blog page but when you click on an individual post, I get a page not found error. This happens regardless of theme so I know it's not funky php that I've added to the themes. Can anyone help me? I really need a solution to this asap.
My site is http://alyssamtorres.com
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
-deactivated all my plugins, it didn't work.
-I switched to Twenty Eleven after changing the name of my plugins folder and it still didn't work.
I feel like there must be a simple issue but I don't know what.
Like I said, something simple. Thank you so much, alchymyth.
