on posts/pages/custom-posts admin pages, their number is controlled by the value in "Blog pages show at most:.." (from Settings >> Reading) and trying to change the number using the "screen options" tab doesn't work, doesn't even show a number at all.

Posted 1 year ago #found the problem, was related to some code I wrote and not 3.1 itself.
