My domain is http://socialsecuritysearches.net on a WP 3.0 Painter Theme. Blog page displays 404 Error -Page not found message. When RSS Feed is pinged you get the same message. I have disabled all the Plug-ins and re-activated one by one to no avail. On the WP Administrative Panel under Settings>Reading, "...Articles in Feed" is set to "Full Text". I know that the RSS Feed Reader is installed by default in the WP Theme Template so I shouldn't have to mess with any coding? I just finished up the site so I couldn't tell you if the RSS Feed was ever working on the template. I discovered the problem last night when I was subscribing to some RSS Directories and their ping to my RSS Feeder provided the error. Since this my first website I am most likely overlooking something here. My Host Server group seemed to think it was because I had no content on the Blog page. I applied an article on the page and still get the error message. Any advice would be appreciated.

Posted 1 year ago #No, I created my Front Page as a "Static Page". It was originally by default of the template a blog page and I was creating the front page as "Posts". But when I had asked The Forum a couple of days ago about setting up the "Home Page" it was recommended that I changed the front page to a "Static" page, and that worked great. I guess I'm just confused about what should be static and how to utilize blog posts. When I create a "Post" will it go to the "Blog" page or the "Front" page?

The Blog page. The RSS feed only includes posts, so until you have at least 1 post, you won't have an RSS feed.
