Blog on my website

Hi Guys

I am a complete noob here and am struggling to get any help!

I want to have a simple blog on my website (www.blindability.co.uk) to highlight some products I am testing. I would like people to be able to follow the blog so they get notified when the blog is updated.

I understand I can do this very easily from my existing site without having to setup a new blog and linking it to my website.

I really am a novice when it comes to this kind of thing, so if anybody has any advice please can it be nice an simple?
