Blog no longer displays recent posts – shows non existing static page

    My website at http://www.bestdogfooddiets.com keeps defaulting to a static ‘privacy policy’ page. Problem is, I dont have an active privacy policy page and I want it to display my most recent posts instead.

    Im tried settings – reading – latest posts but that doesnt solve it.

    any ideas?

    Check that you haven’t set up a static front page via Settings -> Reading

    I did. I have it set to ‘your latests posts’ and the problem is still occurring.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
