   I have a WordPress blog setup on my personal isp webspace. It runs fine when the WordPress and Blog URLs are set to address this site.

   I have also purchsed a more memorable URL for my blog and forwarded this URL to my isp space.

   I would like the links on my site to reflect the purchsed URL - but this doesn't work. The blog looses the CSS style sheets for the main site and the admin area and the archive previuos and next posts links don't work.

   The main site is at http://www.garstang.f2s.com/blog/ and the purchased url is http://www.prescriber.org.uk and is pointed to http://www.garstang.f2s.com/blog/.

   What am I doing wrong, or am I trying the impossible?

   PS At the moment the URLs are both set to the ISP address.

   You need to setup your WordPress URI to http://www.garstang.f2s.com/blog/ and then set your Blog URI to the domain you want, that way it will appear properly. The domain will need to be hosted there as well, so make sure it resolved properly.

   WordPress URL is as you have stated. The prescriber.org.uk URL isn't hosted on the same servers (and not much I can do about that either)

   If I set the Blog URL to the Prescriber.org.uk address, some of the links stop working.

   I guess what I'm after can't be done (yet? he asks hopefully!)
