Blog is visible via dashboard, but not on webhost (5 posts)

When I click on "visit site," I can see my blog--posts, FAQ, blogroll, everything I've created so far. Problem is, despite it being FTP-ed to my host, when I go to my blog (http://writingbabe.com) it still says "future home of..."

Media Temple support says this has something to do with my accidentally installing WordPress twice.

I deleted one entire installation file by file, and left the second one, which is in the correct location, where it was.

Now that I've done this, nothing has changed. I can still see my blog via the WordPress dashboard, but not by going to the url.

What's wrong, and how can I fix it? The Media Temple guy said something about htaccess, which I know nothing about. Where would I find it? How do I know if it's correct?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you need to delete the index.HTML from your root (if that's where you installed WordPress that is.

Thanks to both of you for helping!

    It's in:

I hope this is the answer to your question. (Trouble is, terms like "root" are beyond me. I'm a writer, and new to the tech side of this. Sorry to be such a newbie)

    I appreciate your help!
