Not sure how your theme disappeared. Themes are in your wp-content/themes folder.
You might make sure your file permissions are set before uploading any other themes.

Adding new themes
I’ve been with BlueHost for 2 years now and have never had any problems. I just started my WordPress blog 2 days ago and have uploaded several themes. All are working and I’ve settled on one to stick with. No problems.
Like MichaelH said, check your file manager and make sure it’s uploaded to the proper folder.
You can call BlueHost’s tech support and I’m sure they will help you.

ok i followed your advice and now i know how to upload a theme..
the issue is am facing now is that all my old url’s have been converted to numbers.
For eg: when i had my blog hosted at wordpress..one of the links was like
http://xyz.com/2008/02/NewTips/
and now it has become
http://xyz.com?p=118
moreover now all tags have been converted to nos.
Tags: 103, 104, 105, 106
Plz help.
Log in to your blog.
Click Options
Click Permalinks
Adjust as necessary from Default!
See Using_Permalinks for more information — and don’t be afraid to click around in the Options section 🙂
By the looks of your original permalinks, you’ll want to change that to:
/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/
most likely.

I went to permalink and also saw the tag base..but what do i put into that..how do i convert my ‘numbered tags’ as ‘word tags’

Did you convert categories to tags? Is that how the tags became “numbered”? From the previous install?

No i do not remember doing anything like that explicitly..any tips to get back my ‘tags’
elaborate on that please. Show as numbers where? On your theme? In the back-end? On the moon? Details!

Hi,
Ok. Whenever you post en entry on your blog, you have the option of specifying tags for it. I did that for my blog too. ANd they were displaying well below the post.
Eg of tags: food, taste, curry
Now that I have shifted my blogs to bluehost, all those tags are displayed now as numbers.
Eg: 23,38,44
I am using the Garland theme.
thanks.
New one for me. You say this is happening on the Write Posts screen?
