   I just started my Blog but my hopes is to get Moms together and give out Parenting Tips, Recipes, Activity Ideas, etc.

   Hi,

   I'm not a mom, so I don't know if I should comment. ;-)

   Not sure if I like the fixed footer. It put me off and seemed to get in the way. There's nothing on it really that needs to be seen all the time.

   Your sidebar font colour (light grey) is very similar to your background (white), so you cannot see the writing very well. It also looks like you don't want people to click on it as it gave me the impression it had been "greyed out".

   Good luck though.
