Okay, maybe I'm a dork here, which is highly possible given my lack of experience and knowledge. I've been searching for a plugin to enable me to register, add and show followers to my WordPress blog, and it appears that there isn't one. I find this immensely confusing - given that there are any number of "add-this-to-any-site-out-there" buttons and plugins available, not to mention how many "show-how-many-twitter-followers-you-have", it just doesn't make sense that a blog can't list and show their own personal "here-on-this-space" reader loyalty stats. Is it just me, or is the universe a little skewed on this?
If, in all my googling and yahooing and wordpressing I've missed that one lonely link with information to the contrary, I'd be really chuffed if someone would point me in the right direction. Starting a new blog is hard enough in and of itself without having (in my humble opinion) a very basic tool to encourage reader loyalty.
Many thanks, and have a great weekend!
