I just spent a good portion of an hour writing a blog entry. One page was my updates and the other was the view. Everything looked perfect, so I pressed PUBLISH on the update page, and closed the view. When I went to my site to see the post, all I got was the TITLE and the entire page was empty. When I went back to the edit field, the 4 pictures I had uploaded were still there, but what happened to the meat and potatoes? My writing is all gone. It was there when I pushed PUBLISH, so this does not make sense. Help!

It could have been the result of a connection problem at your end, a server glitch, your own machine struggling - Endless possibilities. We have all been there and done that at times.

As you say in your own post on your site now..

That’s a lesson learned. Copy what you write before you trust the Publish button to do the job.

Some people I know get so paranoid about losing data in posting that they save copies and post to their blog with programs like wbloggar and blogdesk. Copy and paste works for me ;)
