Hi, I'd appreciate any help.
Today my blog has disappeared.

I can see there are my files still on the server and non-wordpress related files will display on line. for example; http://www.japancatnet.com/annie1b.jpg
But all wordpress and controls/dashboard do not display.
any ideas?

Your host (Yahoo!) should be able to help you with this.

So far Yahoo has given me 3 different unhelpful answers incduding one that cost me $100.
1. J said;
"I checked your domain japancatnet.com and found that it is on a Hosting Starter plan. There is a cap on data transfer usage for every month and you have exceeded that. You can upgrade your plan to Yahoo! Web Hosting and fix the issue."
2. M said; "I believe the problem you are experiencing is a transient one that shouldn't persist. The problem may have been caused by our system, by your web browser, or a problem on the Internet between your ISP and us."
3. Mu said; it is incorrect code in the index.php file.

that is typical yahoo garbage
they have antique servers and software and too many shared users
upgrading wouldn't help you and the tech answers are ...ridiculous to say the least
you can get much better hosting for cheap
not affiliated in anyway with A Small Orange hosting but have used them for years - great support when needed and everything just works

the Tiny plan is adequate for a starter site and the Small plan will do you for a long time
