Blog crashed, can I download my posts with Filezilla?

    My blog crashed trying to upgrade it. Now I’m afaraid of losing my posts.
    Can I get them using Filezilla? If yes, in which folder will I find them?

    Frankly speaking, No, you can not get the posts using Filezilla. The wordpress saves the posts in the MySQL database. If you can take the backup the database, then you will get the posts back!!!!!

    Oh, I see. I have backed up the database so, even if I do a clean install now, I can have my posts back?

    Yes…but you may want to make a copy of your uploads directory (in wp-content) since that holds any uploaded files and any custom themes you may have.

    You may also want to backup your uploads directory (any files you have uploaded will be there) and any custom themes you may have.

    oh, yes, I forgot to mention this. WordPress saves all uploads in the wp-content/uploads directory, like your images, videos, etc. You will have to take the backup of this directory also..
