I have a business question I'd like to ask of anyone with experience with online advertising or monetizing blogs.
I have a political blog which gets approx 25,000 unique hits per month. A small news portal has approached me about moving my independent blog to their site.
They've offered what would amt. to about $2,500/yr. at my current level of traffic (& which would rise as my traffic rose). Considering that my blog earns very little currently fr. Adsense & Amazon ads, this is an attractive offer. It will also allow me to break through to a larger audience than when I was independent.
Does anyone have any thoughts on whether the financial offer seems reasonable? I, of course, believe my blog is worth more than that. But considering that it's earning much less than that now, can beggars be choosers?
