Sometime a couple years ago, I accidentally deleted my blog from my wordpress. Techie friends have recovered what they can, but it's never been quite the same...

When you click to my blog section, you are redirected to

    http://katherinegrantsuttie.com/blog-2/

where the caption reads "404 Page does not exist".
However, you can still see the archive of all my recent blog posts, still fully functioning when you click on them. It's just the initial blog page with proper formatting that has seemed to disappear. Perhaps the permalink has been erased?

Is this salvageable? If not, how can I reset my wordpress while maintaining my domain name? I don't mind losing content as it's easy to back up but I'm sick of my site looking broken.

I think you do not have any content in /blog-2 . If so why do you want to keep a link like that? What happens if you delete that link and remove it from your menu?
