Blockquote and bold/italics not working

    Hello!

    I’m working on a template not my own for a friend…=)….and when using blockquote or both bold and italics on a line it doesn’t work…

    can anyone tell me if this is a mess-up in the css code and if it’s fixable?

    Yeah, it’s likely that the <strong> and <em> tags have been “reset” in your CSS stylesheet. Just add some CSS declarations, and you should be good. <strong> is generally rendered as font-weight:bold; and <em> is generally rendered as font-style:italic;

    It might help if you posted a url to a specific page on the site and gave examples of bold and italic text in that page.

    Hello,

    I am actually running into the same issue, the bold and italic options are not working properly although color does. I tried inserting the lines “font-weight:bold;” and “font-style:italic;” in the main entry fields once at a time but that only caused the entire paragraph to become highlighted or italicized as opposed to only one word.

    sg02 is there some text in that paragraph that is supposed to be bold or italic? Try wrapping some text in <strong> and <em> tags and see what that does.
