blocking users?

    I’ve searched everywhere and still can’t find the answer, so I’d appreciate some help here. I write a sports blog on nationalsportsreview.com, which uses wordpress, and I’m having a problem with a particular user. He keeps posting rude, non-constructive comments on my blog and somehow auto-approves them. Does anyone know how I can block the user from commenting?

    Can’t you set all comments to go to moderation via Admin/Settings/Discussion? If you’re already doing that, I’d be worried about how he was managing to auto-approve his own comments.!

    You could try using the Comment Moderation or Comment Blacklist (in Admin/Settings/Discussion again) to match against his email address.
