An individual has been commenting on my website and will not stop leaving inappropriate and hurtful comments. I have put keywords and IP addresses on my "comment blacklist" but comments from this person get directed into my spam folder. I tried using plug-in "WP-BAN" which worked for a few weeks until this individual changed their IP address and continue leaving comments. Is there a way I can block this person from commenting on my website or their comment being detected by "Akismet" instead of being directed to my spam folder?

Are they using the same email address? I'm assuming you blocked that as well.

Posted 3 months ago #They are using multiple fake email addresses. I blocked dozens of IP addresses, email addresses, and their name or words they often post.
The comments simply go in the "spam" folder to view and delete. Is there a plug-in to ban a user, more restrictions for comments, or a way to not allow comments on my website at all?

Well of course you can turn off all comments for your site (general settings -> discussion).
