Block Spam Registration without Captcha

    I am getting spammy robots registering for my blog.

    All the email addresses have over 3 or 4 periods like erugi.sadjhgkj.asdh.gjsd@gmail.com

    Is there a way to block a registration with a email address containing over 2 periods?

    I’d like to do this without capthca because I can’t stand it. Can it be done with regex?
