How can I block an ISP from my blog? Surely there's a way. . . .

    Thanks.

    I meant IP. Doh! Sorry.

So far I've tried to edit the .htaccess file. No go. Notta.

And someone somewhere said that you can go to the dashboard under Options|Discussion. Nothing there.

I don't just want to block comments. I want to block IP. I need to. Soon.

    HELP!

    QK

I'm able to block IP's from my Control Panel (cPanel). It's under a "Security" tab.

A search here will turn up quite a few posts about using .htaccess to block IPs.

Or you could visit Options -> Discussion and scroll down to the bottom of the page and check out that "Blacklist" field and the accompanying directions.

"A search here will turn up quite a few posts about using .htaccess to block IPs."

Did that. Tried about 3 different ways. None worked.

"Or you could visit Options -> Discussion and scroll down to the bottom of the page and check out that "Blacklist" field and the accompanying directions. "

That only blocks comments. I need the whole IP OUT of my blog.
