   Hello there, I'm gettin a ridiculous amount of spam from two or three of the same addresses every day.

   Is there any way I can block these addresses pemanently?

   Add the emails to the Comment Blacklist under Settings > Discussion

   Hello again. This method still seems to let them through to 'spam' as they were before. I was trying to find a way to stop them even before that. I think that may be down to my Internet provider though.

   You might want to add another anti-comment-spam plug-in like Bad Behavior and/or Cookies for Comments.

   Hi again, I do want genuine comments to still get through. These plug-ins won't affect that, will they?

   They are designed to let legitimate comments through while blocking spam. If you read about them a bit, you can see how they work. And if you have any issues, you can always deactivate.
