    i am having a hard time throwing my own header into the blix theme.

    "Just drop your own banner called header_bg.jpg into themes/blix/images/spring_flavour/ and you're done. Dimensions should be at least 690px x 150px."

    i can get it into blix/images without a problem but spring_flavour is not a folder on my server.

    any help would be much appreciated. thanks errbody

    right click on the image and click properties. It will show where (in wich map) the image is laying. Also, giving the link to your blog will prolly help a lot to solve your problem.

    okay i downloaded the blix.zip file again. uploaded the entire folder and i still can't see how to put animage within spring_flavour. within the wp-admin/theme editor i can browse 'spring_flavour.css' and i see this:

    /* header
    --------------------------------------------------*/
    #header {
    background-color:#F0F9F9;
    background-image:url(images/spring_flavour/header_bg.jpg);
    }

    but i can't edit it. any other ideas? thanks a lot for your help sainty.

    what do you mean you cant edit it? unpack the zip, edit style.css as you like, and upload the edited file to your site.

    because you dont have the theme files chmod'd correctly to allow your web server to write to them. This is covered AD NAUSEUM on this forum and within the codex.

    A simple search and some reading will enlighten you further.
