• I’ve just created my first counter, and the first thing I’ve mentioned was blinking of the digits.

    • First, they go down, this looks OK
    • When they are in the lowest possible position, they suddenly appear and disappear again.

I’ve tried to catch this as a screenvideo, but the strange thing is – on my screen it occurs

    • in FF – for every second digit
    • in chrome – for every, say fifth digit
    • in IE – for every digit

but on video i can see this ten times rarer…
Still, time to time, this can be seen on this youtube video.

    I’m not sure, if it’s hardware-dependent or something…
On another my PC I can see this bug, but more rarely…
    Both PCs got nvidia graphics….

Here’s a pic, explaining, what I’m talking about.

Yikes! That’s not good. Does it only happen with the Jedi theme? This is indeed a very strange behavior. Can you share a link so we can see if this is happening on our end as well?

    Nope, this is theme-independent.

    Here’s two links
1-widget to the right, you can’t miss it.

2 – at the bottom of the page

It looks like you have some javascript errors with other plugins that might be causing this issue:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://shnaiderman.ru/wp-content/plugins/cardoza-3d-tag-cloud/cardoza_3D_tag_cloud.js?ver=3.5
    kowack: callback.js loaded: 0.258ms callback.js:172
Uncaught TypeError: Property '$' of object [object Window] is not a function shnaiderman.ru:135
    4Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token c

Can you look into what is causing these and see if this fixes the flashing issue?

    Indeed, there are errors….
    I’ve found two:

    1. In my firebug, it looks like this. I’ve just reported it here.
Not sure, what it is, but it goes away, onece I delete the VK widget….
    2. 404. in firebug it looks like this. It goes away, when I disable 3D tag cloud plugin (it’s unused anyway). I’ve just reported it here.

Though, even after both errors are gone, the issue still exists 🙁

I’ve temporarily disabled VKapi widget now… (I’ll switch it back on in a couple of days)…

Please update to the latest beta 2.2.10d: http://plugins.twinpictures.de/plugins/t-minus-countdown/

Thank for the update! Just installed it.
Though, it’s still the same. Either with my (slightly edited) css, or original.

which style are you using, exactly?

    Thread Starter i3v

    (@i3v)

    “c3-po”…
I’ve only edited some aligning, so that it would look like centered..
Without this modification digits are blinking in exactly the same manner…

Moreover. For the test purpose, I’ve just deleted the css used.
I got the plain text. The blinking was still there….
