   How can I remove the theme's header so that my own header image is displayed - only.
   I have no header option under Appearance.

   It depends on how the header is coded -- if you post a link to your site, someone can give you a better answer.

   I thought the Blaskan theme had a header option in Appearance tab?

   Have a look in uploads the image is called from there

   There's an option under Appearance> Theme Options: "site title and header message? [ ] Hide"

   Does it not work?
