    Hello,

I was messing around with functions.php and my site went blank. I must've added or deleted something. I can't remember. Now I can't access anything. I can't get to the login page to get to my site or to do administrative work.

I'm not that great with wordpress or website building or design. I was trying to make some changes to a theme that I've purchased and installed and now I can't access anything.

I need help. I've tried looking at my server bluehost but don't even know what to look for there and I've read through several posts but I'm getting more confused. How can I access my page to fix this and perhaps reinstall the theme?

    Thanks!

  2. What you need to do is access your site via FTP and navigate to wp-content > themes
Just re-install the theme that you purchased.

you need to connect via FTP using an FTP app such as FileZilla. You can get your FTP connection details from your hosting company if you don't know them. once you are connected, navigate to your theme's directory inside wp-content/ themes and replace the version of functions.php with the broken code with a fresh unedited copy.

Stupid stupid me. I'm rolling on the floor crying like a baby! I went to bluehost and reinstalled wordpress. My wordpress seems to be gone now replaced with a fresh new one!

My world has come to an end. Please tell me it's saved somewhere.

    Hate being a NOOB!
