I’m a longtime WordPress user, so I know the upgrade drill. I did everything as described in the instructions, including deactivating all plugins beforehand and then reactivating them post-upgrade.

All was well until, mysteriously, wp-admin/plugins.php just ceased to function. I hadn’t changed anything, only posted an entry. Now all it shows is a blank page. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Seems similar to this person’s problem.. Try what I said here, if that don’t work, maybe someone else can help you better..? Good luck.

How I fixed it: I renamed my plugins folder, reloaded the plugins page (which showed up, minus any plugins), then renamed my plugins folder back to “plugins”. I then had to reactivate each plugin, but all is now functional.

this not only solved my problem, but should be posted somewhere as an easy way to deactivate all plug-ins during an upgrade! thanks!!!
