new to wordpress. have installed it on server at mediatemple. works fine. then upload the theme through ftp in the theme folder. It shows up and i click activate then bam!!! all i get is blank white pages. I remove theme from wordpress through ftp and then it works again. It works fine theme and all on my local mamp server but i can't figure out how to fix on the mediatemple server? Any help would be appreciated.

Posted 1 year ago #yes it will show up after i remove the installed theme but everything is blank once i activate the installed theme. Then I remove it from the server and the default theme works fine.

Posted 1 year ago #I would get it working on the default theme and then upload one file template at a time from your Mamp theme (to overwrite it) until it crashed (assuming your mamp theme has the same basic index.php, categories.php etc.)
Have you set something up in your Mamp theme that uses local paths?
