Blank Spaces?

Hi, I am new here and to wordpress. I am working on a site http://www.breaknpoint.com and I am using the “tonic” theme. I am trying to get rid of the big blank space (and little category button) at the top of the page so my content will all touch the top of the page, as you can see there’s a huge black space here.
