   Hey there,

   maybe i should tell the full story briefly:

   • i have a wordpress installation running (2.6.5) smoothly on a webserver (http://thebakery.de)
   • have to upgrade it, but there should be zero down-time
   • copied everything (files + database) on my local server (MAMP), made changes to wp-config.php
   • at this point everything was running smoothly
   • deactivated all plugins
   • made a manual upgrad to 2.9.2
   • /wp-admin is still running smoothly, but i get a blank screen when i'm trying to access my site

   i checked several files for linefeeds, after the ?> – there were some, but it didn't solved my problem. i tried to install an alternative theme also, but it also didn't work – blank site all the time.

   hope you guys have an idea, where to look next :)

   Try again using 2 smaller upgrade steps:

   2.6.5 -> 2.7 -> 2.9.2

   And switch to the default theme for the upgrade. Your old theme might not be compatible with 2.9
