   I upgraded to version 2.8 today and now get a blank, gray tone screen when I click to any page below Dashboard.

   Unfortunately, I didn't back up to the prior version (I think it was 2.7.1) and I'm not sure where to go from here.

   Any suggestions?

   I'm helping a guy out in editing content on his organizations new web site. I'm not an experienced WordPress user and not sure how much i can do without tech support from our site host.

   I appreciate any help you can provide.

   use your ftp client, or the host's file manager and rename the plugins directory.

   better?

   if so, than you need to figure out which plugin(s) are causing the problem.
