Hi all, just uploaded all documents to the FTP and when I try to install through web browser I just get a blank screen. My hosting is through GOdaddy and here is the link. http://www.lakesideboatsinc.com/wp-admin/install.php
I also followed the instructions on Godaddy about the MySQL and starting a database. Thanks for the help.

Try re-uploading all files & folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

Oh, forgot to mention that I tried that twice already. I had the FTP overwrite files instead of deleting them first. Would that make a difference?

It could do, Delete all files except your wp-config.php file and re-upload everything from a fresh download.

Hmmm, there is no wp-config.php file only a wp-config-sample.php file. Should I just delete all and try again.?

using that saple file, you need to create wp-config.php file. Instructions are here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php

Got it. Where can I find the name of the database host?

I think I did everything right and its still a blank screen. I removed "sample" from the "wp-config.php"

No. Rename the file back and allow WordPress to create your wp-config.php file.

I renamed it back and I still get the blank screen when I go to the install.php page. I must have done something wrong. I think I'll try to re-upload everything and start fresh. Any other suggestions?

A fresh upload would seem to be the most obvious solution at this point.
