• Hi… I have searched for this problem and found many variations but not this exact issue.

I upgraded to WordPress 3.3.2 today and afterwards, I cannot edit or view a post using the admin panel. The post just looks blank, and the tabs for ‘Visual’ and ‘html’ on the right don’t really do anything, the post is blank either way.

Please note: it’s just the post contents in the admin panel that are blank, I can see the title, the right side bar, left side navigation, and the actual post is also posted for readers.

Also… I cannot ‘reply’ to comments in the admin panel either. When I hit reply, the screen just moves to the top and does not open the reply window. I can leave comments on my actual site though, just not in the admin view.

I have deactivated all of my plugins and reactivated them, to no avail. Thanks for your help on this…

  • You may want to look for blank spaces before ‘<? php’ and after ‘?>’ in your php files. That often causes issues with blank areas in admin.

If you’ve disabled your plugins and that’s not making a difference go through your theme.php files, often this blank space is found in the functions.php file.

Not sure if that’s the fix, but maybe worth exploring.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

Did you find any solution? I have the same issue with WordPess 3.4
