Support » Fixing WordPress » Blank Page Error.(if a / is missing)

  • Hi,
I don’t know how this error is called but it’s really annoying…
For example if someone goes to my website and go to this link:

    randomnerdtutorials.com/download
It doesn’t work but if someone types
    randomnerdtutorials.com/download/
    it works

(please try that… and you see what I mean.)
and that happens to any page if i don’t use “/” in the end

    Not working:randomnerdtutorials.com/about
    Working: randomnerdtutorials.com/about/

I have this theme installed on another website and it works. novoelemento.com

I don’t know what’s the problem… Please someone help me?
I’ve recently moved those two websites to a new hosting… that can be the problem some database issue. but I’ve done the exact same thing to both of them and one works and the other doesn’t

Thanks so much for your time!

  • Maybe there is some problem in the Permalinks settings? Did you compare the settings in the two sites?

By the way, the site is interesting!

    thanks for your answer!
After posting here… I’ve decided to backup everything else from my website and delete the wordpress installation.
And install everything from scratch. (upload files, upload comments, install themes and plugins.
It was the only way I found to fix this problem!
    Probably was a cache problem.
Some people was talking about that problem in the forum…

But again that was the only way to fix this problem.
