When I make a new post wp does it's thing and then I get a blank page. The new post is on the blog, but why does post.php go blank after it finishes posting?

Go to Options -> Writing. Scroll down to "Update Services" -- how many do you have listed?

What happens if you temporarily clear that list and make a new post?

I cleared it out and it worked fine! That was it. Thanks.

Since upgrading to WP 2.1 I've been having this problem.

After editing a post or a comment I end up at a blank screen. The post is saved and edited though.

I've tried all sorts of combinations with what to leave in or leave out in the update service and no luck so far.

I've been having this problem as well. The funny thing is, not on my blog. On two others.

    First of all:
We all have the same version of WordPress.
One out of the three works fine.
Two are on the same sever (one site works and one does not)
Everytime they go to post/publish or edit (they have to hit save) - it goes to the blank white screen.

    Help?

I was good until I hit 1500 posts. Now I, too, am having this problem. Nothing related to update services helped.

I wonder if this is related to mod_security.

Have you checked your web server error logs after getting the blank page?

You might try the suggestion in this thread (whooami's response) and see if it makes any difference.

After reading a suggestion in another thread, I determined CForms to be the culprit. It was apparently fine until it went live and someone tried to use it. Odd, though, since I used it before making it live, but then I only had about 20 posts, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Tried Dagon Design Form Mailer as a replacement and had the same problem. Looks like I just need to find something that's not tied into WordPress for contact forms.
