    Hi there,

    I wonder if it is possible to have one blank page without any WordPress coding, so that I can put whatever code I want there without it being formatted to the WordPress blog layout.

    This applies for just one page, everything else should be normally blog-like.

    Thanks,
    Trevor

    Can't you just create a link to a page that you define (html, php, whatever)? Do you want it to sit completely outside of WordPress or am I missing something?

    The thing is I do not know how to define it so that it is a blank page. I am very newbie at php and html.

    I would like the page to be placed on the same domain as the blog itself.

    Suggestions are welcome!

    Create a file called blank.html and put the following in it:

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
    <HTML>
     <HEAD>
      <TITLE>Blank Page</TITLE>
     </HEAD>

     <BODY>
      <H1>Blank Page</H1>
     </BODY>
    </HTML>

    Upload that to your web server in the directory where your files are served from then navigate to http://yourdomain.com/blank.html

    Unless I'm mistaken, this isn't really a wordpress specific issue, this is Basic Web Development 101.
