Blank Home, Blank Admin

    This morning I went to my blog admin to post.

    Blank page.

    So I went to the blog itself: eaf.net/pantinghart/.

    Also blank.

    I get those results on two different computers. I get those results using both Firefox and IE.

    I looked at the source code (which I’ve appended at the end). It’s the same for both the blog and for wp-admin.

    I checked the database for unauthorized users. None. But I did find this message in the wp_users section: “The following indexes appear to be equal and one of them should be removed: user_login, user_login_key.”

    I’ve searched here. I’ve Googled. I’ve deactived plugins. I’ve uploaded fresh copies of some key php files.

    No luck.

    What leads or help can you give me, please?

    I still haven’t found the solution.

    I guess I should manually ftp all the files and see what happens.

    Anybody? Help?

    Did you recently make any changes to your blog?
    Upgrade? A new plugin? Move hosts?

    No changes of any sort.

    I replaced almost all the core files.

    No resolution.

    I eventually discovered that functions.php had been changed in the theme I use. So I replaced that. When I tried to access my blog, I couldn’t, but I was past the blank white page stage.

    However, I could get into the admin area.

    The theme had been upgraded, so I did the automatic upgrade.

    Problem solved!

    Panting Hart is operational again.
