Blank Dashboard and Website (2 posts)

Hi, I was updating my theme in CSS to remove padding in the header. It wasn't exactly what I wanted so I pasted the coding back in to the CSS and once I had updated the file my dashboard and website have become unavailable to access.

At this moment I do not have access to our FTP site, and I have looked throughout this forum to find a solution. Is there anyway to fix this problem without having to go to an FTP site? Please help.

Update: Cache and browsing history has been cleared. All I'm getting is a blank white page.

You need file level access. That doesn't have to be FTP but often is.

Unfortunately when you get blank pages that means PHP is crashing. To fix it you'd either need to use your WordPress dashboard to switch theme (not an option in this case) or use file system access via FTP or some other file level access to rename or delete the buggy theme directory.

Do you have any file system access to your web server?
