Blank / Clean Responsive Theme for 3.7.x

    Hello,
    anyone could suggest me a blank or a really clean responsive (desktop/tablet/smartphone) theme that could be used as skeleton to design a new theme for WordPress 3.7.x over it?

    Thanks for the links, I’ll give them a look now!

    Do you have used any of these? Any personal preference?

    I’ve not personally, though underscores.me is used and very well regarded by theme devs I know. BlankSlate has excellent support by its developer so that might be a factor, depending on your level of experience with WP and web development in general.

    Underscores is the replacement for Toolbox and has been created by a team from Automattic, so it’s going to be supported for a long time. I love it as a starter theme – although I wouldn’t necessarily describe it as responsive. It’s very clean and mean and the responsive stuff is all pure CSS anyway. 🙂
