I had a blog that I installed and it was working fine untill I tried to install another blog in the same server (different folder) now when I go to my original blog my wp-admin page is blank. I can log in and out. I deleted the new blog folder and my cookies for fear of loosing all that is in the first blog. How do I fix this without loosing all the posts and comments?

By blank you mean you get all-white page?
How about the front page? Does it still display normally?

You might need to change the permission for directory wp-admin as I'm restricted to view the following.

And it's still a white page? I guess you have to try strong refresh: apple-shift-R if you use firefox

Someone said you can't strong refresh with Safari, so do you know how to clear the browser cache?
Or just try on some other computer?
    or install firefox?
Also make sure the files in wp-admin/ still complete

    not working for me either.

You never modified the content of wp-admin/ right? Just delete folder wp-admin/ and upload a new copy of that folder.

It looks like Dreamgirl must have followed the suggesting that Alphaoide posted just before she replied with, "its working. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"

just FYI - 'strong refresh' in Safari is "shift+click" on the Refresh button.

I have been having this same problem and nothing works. My blog front page is fine--you can see the posts, look at categories, etc. The problem is, none of my admin pages are working. I replaced my wp-admin directory, and I've searched all of the other posts and haven't found a solution. Is it just my host? Should I just wait a day and see if it works later?

Okay, I had Bluehost do a restore from Wednesday, and the problem is still there. The funny thing is that it happens in Firefox and IE. Should I try to go another week back? I know that my site was working fine on Wednesday, so it shouldn't still be a problem. Could it be something else that I'm not seeing. I am fairly new at this, so please help me!

Bluehost screwed up something with their upgrade - see this topic and the links from there:
