I posted this question 2 weeks ago. Thought maybe a fresh start would get me a response.

I have a black line across the top of the slide show that pushes the images down so one cannot see the bottom of the image.

I have updated, uninstalled, re-installed. I don't know what else to do. Someone please help. Site link below

There seems to be a script on your page that adds HTML breaking tags '<br />' to the page. The breaking tags that are placed in the slideshow create the black line across the top of the slideshow.

    Stefan,

thank you soooooooooooooooooo much! I can see the code (below) in the developer tool in chrome (and opera). Unfortunately, I'm lost as to where the code is. I would appreciate it sooooo much if you would give me hand in the right direction. I've been looking in all the files for over an hour. Is there a menu or something, in developers tool, that tells me what file the code is located? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Regards, Erik

    Hi Erik,

I would say there's a plugin on your website that adds these breaking tags. You could check if this is the case by disabling your other plugins and seeing if the problem persists.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Thanks Stefan,

I'll give your suggestion a try, although I have not added any new plugins lately. Since it seems to have started to happen after your plugins last update. Everything worked great 2 months ago. Maybe the new wordpress update has something to do with it. I keep looking till i figure it out. Its driving me crazy!!!!

Thank for your help. Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

    Stefan,

So I guess I 'figured it out'. Not really, what I was uninstall than try a different plugin, which I didn't like as much as your. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled yours and now it works just fine. Weird, anyway just wanted to close this and to send my thanks for your reply(s).

    Regards, Erik

    Hi Erik,

That's strange, but very good to hear. I'm glad you have the slideshow working correctly now!

    Best regards,
    Stefan
