   At first I was thinking that the problem is because of the xml feed error I encountered in my blog. But when I solved the feed error it registers 0 visits in my wordpress site stats and google analytics. I thought that it was on the plugins but I re checked it and realized it was working. I told my friends to visit my blog but then it keeps registering 0 visits. My blog posts were not penalized in google and was indexed by search engines and the google webmasters tools displays zero errors in my blog.

   I hypothesized that my problem was in my theme. I changed it back to the normal theme I used and then the blog visitors are now registering in my wordpress stats and google analytics. And when I switched back to my custom theme it returns 0 visits again

   Plugins can only insert information if the theme has the appropriate hooks written into it. You probably need wp_head() and wp_footer() at least, though I'd have to look at the analytics plugin source to be sure.

   I've decided to use a wordpress theme in the wp archives instead of my own custom one... i'll just solve the problems myself thank you very much
