• I’m new to WordPress, but I know that one of its nifty features is automatically creating an enclosure in the RSS feed when it comes across a link to an MP3 file in a post.

    Is there a way to have WordPress do this with links to .torrent files as well? I’m in the (very) early stages of starting a podcast, and I’d like to use Bittorrent to distribute it.

    Apologies if I’m missing something obvious. I’ve searched the forums and Googled and still can’t find the answer to this one.

    Still haven’t found a solution, but I think I’ve found a workaround. Looks like Feedburner’s “SmartCast” feature will generate enclosures for torrents.

    The “flexible enclosures” plugin seems to work as well…
