Had a podcast for while and all of a sudden a few months ago the sound pops in and out and wont play smoothly. I ve checked the file itself and its fine, it plays fine form the server. Ive talked with godadddy and the hosting is fine.

I have switched the podcast plugin, optimized the database, and no help. It seemd as though it only affected the podcasts from within 2 months ago but now i think its all of them .....

im lost as it is clearly something within wordpress.

please help !! I appreciate it

  2. As it looks like you're running the audio through the Blubrry PowerPress plug-in, I suggest you post in their dedicated forum:

Sorry but if u read the post u will see its not an issue with the plugin as I had he issue with a different podcast plugin previously so that rules out the plugin. It's an issue with WordPress. Please help I you can

  4. Right, sorry I misread.

Have you tried turning off all other plug-ins to see if there might be a conflict somewhere?

There weren't any installed. Everything was running fine for many months and then all of a sudden this happened. I didn't change anything or add anything

We provide 24 hour turn around support for PowerPress at the blubrry.com forums, forum.blubrry.com.

Godaddy's economical hosting has issues with the "verify" feature of PowerPress. Because of firewall issues it will work in some cases, and not in others. I should warn you though that hosting your media on the same server as your web site is problematic, when you release a new episode your server will come to a crawl because the large media file downloads will clog up your site traffic. You can learn more in the PodcastFAQ.com tips page for mp3's": http://www.podcastfaq.com/creating-podcast/audio/mp3-mpeg-layer-3-tips/
